It's around 2 am when I'm writing this and the ship is dead silence as everybody is sleeping. I figured this would be a good time as any to update the blog because tomorrow is gonna be a hectic day. It's been fun to check out the city, I most say. Not that we have been to every inch and every corner of the town, but have gtten a nice overview to say at least. Started the day with some shopping.
I wish I could say that I rolled out of the store with these, but I didn't. It sure would be fun to slide around in the boat in a pair of these beauties though. I left it with the thought and basically got on with my life. After some more vital grocery shopping we headed back down to the boat, got changed and went up to probably the most touristy place in this city.
Yeah, no big mystery there is it? Didn't catch the name of the place, but the building on the top there is where we were heading in case you still wondered.
Pretty short walk to the top, but can't complain about the view. Easy access with a great view is always a home run among German and Japanese tourists. Or people like us. Whatever category that would fall under.
A coffee and some food at the cafe and we headed back down again.
With certain modifications as guy can see.
These guys just love to fuck around it seems like. Fair enough.
We went back down to the boat and had some fish for lunch. I like fish, but I like hamburgers and burritos a lot better. Starting to feel the crave like a junky who's looking for his next fix right now. I probably wouldn't go to the length of giving head for it, but man would I love me a juicy burger.. Feels like I'm sidetracking a bit here so let's continue with the day shall we? Aiight, let's do it. For the grand finale of the day we took out the tender or the dingy, as many call it. What you prefer depends on your life habits I guess. If you are used to hanging out on yachts, tender is usually a good name. In our particular case, dingy is more correct I suppose, but It prefer tender. Just sayin!
Wanna have another guess of where we were going?
Of course we hiked that mountain. Sugar Hill as it's called. Elias with a flying start on his 1000 push-ups yesterday morning. Walk in the park I'll you.
Last picture of the day. Alesund sure is a pretty place. No doubt about that. Going to sleep now, but feel I should put out a disclaimer and say that you should not take anything you read here too seriously. Guessing you've already figured that out, but just wanted to get it out there. You know, just in case you got the wrong idea.
Anyways, going to the aquarium tomorrow and then we are heading further north towards more uncharted territory. Can't wait.
Sleep tight, dynamite and check back later for more words and pictures from the trip.
Peace and Love!
